Reverse Cowgirl Is Wasted on Men Who Don’t Use Their Hands

If you’d rather skip straight to the video demonstration… Watch the video here.

Picture where you are.

On your back. She is above you, facing away. You can see the line of her spine, the small of her back, the way her weight shifts when she moves. You cannot see her face, she cannot see yours, and there is a decent chance you have quietly decided that your job for the next few minutes is to lie there and be grateful.

That is the misreading. This position hands you two things no other position gives you, and almost every man spends the whole time not using either.

Your Hands Are Free, and They Are in the Right Place

Run through the alternatives for a second.

In missionary your arms are load-bearing. From behind, one hand is usually stabilising. With her on top facing you, your hands are free but they are reaching upward against gravity toward her chest and her face.

Here, both hands are free, both are unloaded, and both are resting at the exact height of her lower back and hips. Gravity is helping rather than fighting you. That is a configuration you do not get anywhere else, and it is the whole argument for this position.

The Brace

Flat palm, low on her back, right where the spine meets the sacrum. Not gripping. Pressing gently forward, toward her stomach.

What that does is rotate her pelvis. And rotating her pelvis, while you are inside her, swings the angle of contact directly onto her front wall, which is where the urethral sponge and the internal structure of the clitoris live.

That is the brace. One hand, one direction, a few degrees of rotation, and a completely different set of surfaces under contact. She will not know what you have done. She will know something changed.

Increase the pressure gradually rather than all at once, and pay attention to what her rhythm does. If she slows down, you have found it. Slowing is not losing interest. Slowing is concentrating.

You Also Control the Rhythm, Without Thrusting

Both hands on her hips. Not to lift her, not to drive her, and not to speed her up.

To add resistance.

Light downward pressure at the moment she settles extends the contact by a fraction of a second, which is enough to change the character of the stroke completely. Light upward pressure as she rises makes her work fractionally harder against you, which changes where the effort lands in her thighs and pelvic floor.

You are not steering. You are adding weight to the system. It is the difference between a swing that someone is pushing and a swing that someone is riding, and she will feel a partner rather than a mattress.

See the brace and the hip resistance demonstrated inside my program, Reverse Cowgirl Domination, with Mia Malkova and Lexi Lore demonstrating every move.

The Lean Is a Dial, and You Can Turn It

Her upper body position determines everything about where the pressure lands. Most couples pick one lean at the start and stay there for the duration, which is a waste of the most adjustable position in the repertoire.

  • Leaning forward, hands on your shins: the angle points contact toward her front wall. This is the g-spot setting and the one most women get the most from.
  • Upright, spine vertical: maximum depth, minimum front-wall pressure. Good for a passage, punishing as a destination.
  • Leaning back, hands behind her on your chest: contact shifts toward her back wall and the angle changes at your end too, often sharply. Go into this one gently.

You can move her between all three with the flat of your hand on her back. Forward pressure sends her forward, and a palm at the base of her spine invites her upright. It is a dial, and you are the one holding it.

One Practical Warning, Because Nobody Ever Gives It

This position accounts for a disproportionate share of penile injuries, for an obvious mechanical reason: she is above you with her full weight, she cannot see the angle, and if she comes down off-axis there is nowhere for the force to go.

So keep at least one hand on her hip when the tempo rises. Not to control her. To feel the trajectory early enough to redirect it. It costs nothing, it removes essentially all of the risk, and it happens to be exactly the same hand position you want for everything else described above.

And the Thing That Actually Makes This Work for Her

She cannot see you. That means the whole channel of reassurance you normally provide with your face is switched off, and unless you replace it she is going to become self-conscious about the view she is presenting, which will pull her out of the encounter faster than any technical error.

Replace it with your hands and your voice. A hand flat on her back is a presence signal. Something said out loud, once, unhurried, is worth more here than in any other position precisely because it is the only channel available.

This is not a soft addendum to the technique. In this position it is load-bearing.

Inside Reverse Cowgirl Domination

  • The brace, with hand placement and the pressure range that works.
  • Hip resistance, demonstrated at both ends of the stroke.
  • The three lean settings and how to move her between them without saying anything.
  • The safe hand position for high tempo, which doubles as the useful one.
  • The two entry variations that make the first thirty seconds far easier than the standard version.

Watch the Hands, Not the Position

You already know what this position looks like. What you have never seen is what the man’s hands should be doing, because in every depiction of it you have encountered they were doing nothing at all.

With pleasure,
