How Important is Penis Size, Really?

It’s the age old question. Does size matter? Does it? DOES IT? Someone please tell the truth here! This is a question that plagues every guy from the time they hit puberty. Boys compare themselves to each other in locker rooms and try to see how they add up. They compare themselves to unrealistic representations found in pornography (not only of size, but of a woman’s experience of sex!). All this comparing generally has one result, a lot of insecurity. There is always going to be a difference in size, just like women’s breast size varies or the shape and size of their vulvas vary, the shape, size, curve, and look of a man’s penis will also vary.

The Stats

  • It’s estimated that about two thirds of men worry about penis size or shape.
  • If you look at what doctors report is the average penis size, they say it’s between 5.5 and 6.3 inches.
  • Men state that penis size is the third most important physical characteristic. Women, on the other hand, report that it is the ninth most important.

These stats should tell you a little bit about the importance of penis size. While men obsess over its importance, women rate it way further down the list.

The Real Deal

  • Not every woman wants a huge penis. Not every woman wants a large penis. In fact, many women don’t enjoy sex with a very well endowed man. It hurts and it makes certain positions and sexual acts impossible.
  • Men with small or more average sized penises often overcompensate for their size by becoming amazing lovers who really focus on pleasing their partners. While I believe that this “overcompensation” is completely unnecessary, it’s still a great benefit. Guys with a big dick might think they have it made. All they need to do is stick it in and the woman is moaning like crazy, but if you have learned anything from my site, I hope it is what a huge myth that is! No matter what your size is, you have to put time and effort into pleasing a woman. A guy who is worried he might need to make up for something is more likely to work at it than a guy who thinks he already has everything a woman wants.
  • Giving oral sex is also much more enjoyable for the partner of a guy with an average or smaller penis. She can really deep throat you without being seriously uncomfortable. That is a win-win situation.
  • Anal sex is more likely, comfortable, and enjoyable for her. Think about it. Even for a woman who loves anal sex, would she really want a giant penis in that small hole, or would a regular sized or smaller penis do the job and feel a million times better? I would say the latter.
  • With a smaller penis you have a better chance at G spot stimulation with your penis instead of your hand. A larger penis will go too deep to be able to properly hit that spot, but if your penis is smaller, it’s more likely to come into contact with the G spot naturally.
  • Use sex positions that allow you to go even deeper and that allow for clitoral stimulation (I have articles on this!). Nothing will hold you back from trying any position. She will never worry that you will hurt her by going way too deep. It will be just right and oh so good!

The absolute number one skill you can learn in the bedroom is confidence. No matter what size you are, if you lack confidence in yourself or your skills, it’s going to show when she is in bed with you. On the other hand, a confident guy will wow a woman in bed, no matter what he’s packing in his Levi’s.

Happy playing, boys!
