The Sequence That Broke My Understanding of My Own Body
I want to tell you about a night that, more than any other, changed how I thought about my own anatomy.
A man I was seeing at the time did something that took about twenty-five minutes and produced four orgasms — each one in a different part of my body, each one deeper than the one before, in a sequence I had never been walked through by anyone.
He started with my clit. Standard. Tongue, then fingers. Predictable.
Once I had come once — cleanly, from external stimulation — he did not, as most men would have, wrap up and move to penetration. He moved his fingers inside me, palm up, and worked my g-spot. Steady pressure. Ten minutes.
The g-spot orgasm that produced was noticeably different from the clit one. Wider. Slower to build. More internal.
But he still wasn’t done.
After I came the second time, he stayed exactly where he was and pushed his fingers slightly deeper — past the g-spot, into a softer zone I had been touched in perhaps twice before in my life. The a-spot.
The orgasm that built there was, again, different. Slower still. Broader. It felt like it came from somewhere behind my belly button.
And then, when I had come a third time and thought we were surely finished, he pressed one finger deeper still and rested it, gently, at my cervix.
I want to be honest about this part. Some women can have cervical orgasms. Some can’t. Some find that touch painful. I turned out, that night, to be in the first category — and the orgasm that came from that fourth, deepest zone was the one that made me cry.
I lay there afterwards trying to understand what had just happened.
It took me a long time to realise that what he had done wasn’t four separate techniques. It was one continuous move, executed as a chain.
The Four Zones Are Not Four Separate Spots
Here is the reframe that took me a decade to arrive at.
Every article on female anatomy presents the four orgasmic zones — clit, g-spot, a-spot, cervix — as if they were four independent buttons on a control panel. Press one. Get an orgasm. Press another. Get a different orgasm.
This is anatomically wrong.
The four zones are, in a very real sense, one interconnected system. The internal clitoris extends downward along either side of the vaginal walls, meaning the clit doesn’t stop at the visible nub. The g-spot and a-spot are both parts of the urethral sponge, at different depths — meaning they are the same tissue, engorging together during arousal. The cervix sits at the deep end of the same pelvic floor these other structures share.
Stimulating one zone primes the others.
External clit work engorges the internal clit, which engorges the urethral sponge, which brings the g-spot and a-spot online. Once those are engorged, cervical stimulation — for the women who can receive it — has a nervous system already loaded with cascading arousal to respond to.
The four orgasmic zones are not a list.
They are a route.
And walking her through them in the right sequence produces a chain of orgasms where each one is bigger than the one before, because the previous one has already engorged and primed the tissue for the next.
The Chain: Zone by Zone
Here is the sequence, in order.
1. The clit — external.
Start here. Always. Tongue, fingers, whatever her preference is. The goal is a full external clit orgasm before you go internal. This engorges the entire genital region, including the internal clit and the urethral sponge.
2. The g-spot — one to two inches in, front wall.
Once she has come once externally, move your fingers inside. Palm up. Find the front wall’s textured ridge. Steady pressure. The already-engorged urethral sponge is much more responsive than it would have been cold-start. The g-spot orgasm builds much faster than usual.
3. The a-spot — four to five inches in, front wall.
After the g-spot orgasm, slide your fingertips slightly deeper along the same front wall. Past the g-spot ridge, past the smoother stretch, into the softer cushioned zone just before her cervix. The a-spot is the deep continuation of the same tissue you just made come — meaning the a-spot orgasm arrives on top of a nervous system already at peak.
4. The cervix — deepest, only if she’s ready.
This is optional and depends entirely on her body. For the women who can have cervical orgasms, one finger resting gently at the cervix — no movement, no pressure, just presence — after the a-spot orgasm can trigger the deepest orgasm most women ever experience. For women who find cervical touch uncomfortable, skip this step. Stopping at three orgasms is not a failure.
Each transition is walked through, with both performers, inside Vagina Masterclass.
Why the Sequence Matters More Than the Technique
Most men, hearing about the four zones, will try to stimulate them out of order or simultaneously. The article on Triple Stimulation Penetration covers a specific version of the simultaneous approach.
The chain is different.
The chain uses time as its main tool. Each zone is worked to completion — she comes — before the next zone is engaged. This is what allows the compounding priming to happen. Each orgasm engorges the tissue for the next.
Skip the sequence, and you are working each zone from a cold start.
Follow it, and by the time you arrive at the deepest zone, you are working with a body that has been primed by every zone before it — and the orgasm at the end of the chain is often the biggest one most women experience in their entire sexual lives.
